i think thell did clarify that the code is technically still hers. but as hex pointed out, she broke the law by hacking and destroying property, which they can bring up against her if she tries to go to court

either way it was her code because she wrote it, it was her intellectual property unless cherp contracted her to make the code. she wouldn't have had to contract the rights for code even if she made it under the employ of cherp. they would have had to draw a contract with her for insolent to not own the code in her IP, which i guess is possible but there's been absolutely no mention of it.
